With Company Data Sync (CDS) managing data between Microsoft Business Central companies has never been easier. Choose the primary company where users will make edits and the child companies where changes will be synced using 1 of 3 methods. Choose any table and any field within Business Central. Settings to extend pages are available to add menu items for manually sync data.

Sync Types:

Manual - Data is only synced when a user clicks the option to do so. Part of the setup is choosing with pages this option is available in. Option to pull data to a child company from primary is available.
Automatic - Changes on records from the primary company sync to child companies once saved. No user interaction required once setup.
Scheduled - Changes in the primary company or tracked and will sync to child companies based on your defined schedule. If performance is an issue, this is the best option to sync data during off hours. (Premium subscription required)
